Hyfred (QT Curve Theme)

Description:

Dark Themes seem very popular, However, I can never get on with them, they're always too dark. So this is my first attempt at a dark but elegant dark grey theme that I find usable everyday.

It's almost there.. still note quite how I wanted it, but close. it's dark, but not "dark" maybe a bit too light at the moment to be considered properly "dark" though

OpenDesktop is being odd and despite deleting the screenshots and uploading new ones it insists on restoring the old ones. -- go have a look at the sceenshots in the colour theme section for more up to date images of the new look

V1,15
Smoothed out a lot of bugs,
GTK apps now work for example!
Altered Borders, buttons, alternating colours for list
Menu's
Toolbars
Title Button, so it now blends better with non Dekorator Themes (hopefully)
Most of the work went into getting it look reasonable in not KDE/QT apps.. it's..... mostly there.. well it's better at least

This version only tested in Mageia 3 Alpha (KDE 4.9.1) Haven't tested on others yet (fingers crossed though!)

Updated the colour scheme to fix some issues, so it should just be smoother, more elegant and cleaner now.

--note: some issues I've noticed with window decorations not lining up with main window. just 1 or 2 pixels short.. but I can't tell if that's a decoration issue or a QTCurve issue or a config issue with how I've created the theme... it's only slightly out and you may not even notice, but already it's annoying the buggery out of me!

It's definitely getting better with time, but still not quite perfect yet (for me)..
But it's getting there.

v.106
Much changed since v1

indeed, quite a lot changed from the 1.05 snapshot.

Buttons are now flat.
Button hover effect much better and subtler.
Scrollbars are more subtle end blended.
Progress groove changed.
Tabs reworked again.
Main Window gradient adjusted the position of the gradient so it starts earlier.

Menu bar
Toolbars are reworked with more transparency and different hover and click effects
Window Decorations adjusted and symbols changed.
Stripes removed from item list.
Icons removed from popups buttons.
Shadows reworked for window effects
Changed shading colour space.
