This is a port to KDE of my icon theme for Gnome Vista-Inspirate (http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=28352).

Is it possible to get bigger actions icons? I need huge toolbars.

It would be very helpful to at least get the konqueror toolbar icons for "up" and "reload" in svg or 128x128 png format (the other icons I was able to find - but it's really hard just having to download the whole gnome vista inspirate theme just to get one icon, in this case the stop button for the toolbar). With that I could scale the missing icons myself for 48, 64, 72 and 96 size.

I want to know if I can use theses icons in my web site... Not to distribute .. just for icons in menu .. there is any problem?

i've tried top 20 highest rated icon sets for KDE and i have to say yours are the most beautiful!
it's a shame we didnt get any update in those few years from release!

Please take them out I like the icons i really do but i don't like the the Ubuntu icon whats with it... back to nuovoXT

hello i got kubuntu 7.04 and it doesnt work for me, it says "invalid icon theme", what can i do? i really want this set.

Choose tar.gz file, do not extract it :)

how can we make the orange-brown coloured folder icon default rather than the light-purple ones? or can u prepare a simple pack for this; just by changing default folder icons colour?

Hi,
it's wonderful theme, I really like it and use it in both KDE and Gnome,
but would it be possible to make Firefox theme like for NuoveXT, please?
It's the last thing I am missing to have a perfect desktop ;)

Or if you are too busy, please let me know and I try to do it myself, thx.

Hi. My K Menu, now that I am using the Vista Inspired Icon Set, shows the Ubuntu logo. And I use Slack, so it doesn't look very nice...

how do I change this?

I agree :) I tried to find some config file, but I gave up and just overwrite all kmenu.png files in icon theme dir with my favorite ones.
It is very bruteforce, but works ;)

Yes, could you add distribution-neutral go.png and kmenu.png to your icon set, please, like those in nuoveXT?

You can download a nice kmenu icon from the nuove-xt icon theme. It fits nicely

using the index.desktop gives me a:
The file is not a valid icon theme archive.
error.
thought this was the default way of installing?

had to copy them to the icon dir.

on my machine, there isn't any /kde/icons folder... 'd be nice to know, how to install this wonderful theme.

In your version (I've got the same probably) the Icons directory is under /usr/share/icons

If you copy the folder with the icon set into there and then start the icon section of the system settings the icon theme automatically apears.

in kubuntu 6.01 it's /usr/share/kubuntu-default-settings/kde-profile/default/share/icons

Where is directory? I'm in Debian Etch 4.0 with KDE 3.5.5.
