I'm going to test this now on my kde 3.4 install, with added 'improving-kde patches', see if it works. if not, you'll hear it...

If you aren't sure if it will cause problems, you shouldn't release it. Most of the people who download from this site probably wouldn't know how to "fix it themselves".
