Crystal Clear
Icon Themes
Description:

Dear KDE Folks,

I have the pleasure to announce the new phase of Crystal Icon Theme that from now on will be called Crystal Clear. There are a lot of changes! Hundreds of new icons, support to the most known KDE games, and a lot of new things. The design style also was improved and updated to be more competitive with the market operational systems as well as the upcoming systems. I hope you like it!

As always I would like to thank some important people:

1- All the KDE users that always have supported my work and make my working nights really worth.
2- Linspire for the financial support of this project (you may not believe, but I have to eat so I keep living).
3- Nullmid, RELIO owner that kindly host online my projects.
4- God, for have gave me life and make all things possible.

Everaldo

Great work Everaldo! You made the great Crystal icons even better.

A thing I miss is a Firefox theme. Any possibility of having one?

Problem while installing Crystal Clear style :

when I do make Makefile -f cvs && ./configure, I got this :

checking if Qt needs -ljpeg... no
checking for rpath... yes
checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail.
So, check this please and use another prefix!

I don't know what it the problem, since I have an installed Kde. I use gentoo linux.

The configure script does not look at the kde prefix in the environment (it assumes that you've installed kde in /usr/local/kde). I, too, use gentoo and it installs it in another location. You'll have to specify the prefix:

configure --prefix=/usr/kde/3.4

That should do it for you. I'm using it right now.

Hmmm... Seems that configure script cannot find where your KDE is. This happens quite often. You should do the following:
./configure --prefix=`kde-config --prefix`

Note that there is a backquote (`), not a quote (') - this is important!

Hi,
are really great iconset (as usual ;)). But I have to admit, that i like the Crystal SVG icons even more. Is the SVG iconset still fostered, or do you now concentrate your efforts on developing the Crystal Clear set?? Hopefully not... :(

It's actually a zip file...
Try "unzip moz_CrystalClear.jar"

and what to do next with the unpacked jar stuff???

The correct way to install a jar theme would be to drag the .jar file onto the list in theme manager window in Firefox.
I've tried to do this, but although I am prompted as to whether to install the new theme, it does not get added to the list.
