If you download any of the tarballs and the extension becomes something like "Hackneyed-*whatever*-.tar.tar," simply rename it to "Hackneyed-*whatever*-.tar.bz2" - Feb 08 2024

Had to dig deeper into this after noticing that Tumbleweed doesn't need the workaround: it was indeed a bug, fixed in 3.24.36, but people on older versions of GTK 3 need to be aware of that. Also fixed in GTK 4 but I'm not sure which version was the first to do so (both Fedora 38 and Tumbleweed are on 4.10.4). - Jul 21 2023

Make sure you download either the multi-sized version or the smallest size. Both start at 24px, which isn't any larger than other cursor themes.

The download page is a bit cluttered, but if you follow the descriptions you'll find the correct packages. - Dec 15 2018

It has *some* support for single-sized cursors, but I never bothered to fully implement it (you can, e.g., run 'make SIZES=48 theme.left' and it will create a theme with 48x48 cursors only). - Feb 22 2017

Making it less fuzzy is only possible with pixel-crafted images. I'll think about that, at least for the smaller sizes, which suffer more. - Sep 29 2016

Editing the changelog doesn't seem to work yet, but here's what I did: xfce-look.org can now host more than one file per artwork, so I added all the pack and the separate left-/right-handed versions to be downloaded directly from here.
