Description: This is a simple and clean kSplash based on the artwork of others. It looks great in combination with my KDM theme. If the background is also used as wallpaper, everything boots seamlessly to the plasma desktop.

However, the backgrounds don't have the same aspect ratio. What I did to fix it was to take the background jpg (grey.jpg) from the KDM theme (/usr/share/apps/kdm/themes), convert it to png, and overwrite the ksplash theme (~/.kde4/share/apps/ksplash) background (background0.png) with it. Then change the ksplash theme to something else and then back again to make it refresh, and then it will line up fine.
