Solarized Light
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
Description:
Port of the light variant of the Solarized theme by Ethan Schoonover. See (http://ethanschoonover.com/solarized) Last changelog:
0.1 -> 0.2 : Fixed horrible row-color alternations. For some reason these can\\\'t be edited from the SystemSettings-Color tool, but only in the raw file.
0.2 -> 0.3 : Fixed horrible yellowness, and deviated slightly from solarized colour-use suggestions to get better contrast. (but did not deviate from the palette)

Hi Philip, I found how to fix the problem. Set the color of window and button #EBE2D2. That is all. Enjoy! :)
Thanks for the feedback - I'll have a look at it soon and see how it improves the colours :-)
Kde apps have yellow background at bottom part. It is ugly. Could you fix it? thanks!!!
You're absolutely right - Some of the the effects are too yellowish for me to, but I have yet to decide what to do. It seems that some of it is due to shading effects in kde/qt, and I don't think there's anything to do about that except experimenting until it produces the right colors. For the time being, the only thing I've done is to fill in colors from the Solarized palette that appeared relevant. But so far I'm afraid that the dark theme seems to be closer to the palette than the white. I'll look into it when I got the time/become too frustrated about it. Feel free to look at it yourself if you're feeling up to it :-)
Yeah, the dark theme is more closer, but my eyes flow out when I open some site with white bacground in firefox. The light theme is more sparing in this case.
For a temporary remedy, try shifting from the 'Oxygen' (if you use that) style, to something else such as 'Plastique' if you find that acceptable. It chooses colors more closely to those specified in the colortheme (I ended up changing to plastique at least).
Yeah, it is looking good for Plastique and Cleanlooks! Thanks Philip!
