This is a unique Dark Red & Gold color scheme for KDE4. It is one of 3 in a series of "Gold" color schemes I have done. The others are 'DeepBlueGold' and 'BlackGold' (** not yet uploaded)

The themes must use either Oxygen, Nitrogen, Ozone, or Bespin 'style' and can be used with any window decoration. The color schemes rely on the color handling properties of KDE4 and will look much to dark with older styles. If you have not changed your style in systemsettings, then you will be fine.

To install, simply open system settings -> Look & Feel -> Appearance -> Colors and choose 'Import Scheme...' and navigate to where you downloaded the file, select it and click 'OK.' The color-scheme will then appear in your scheme list and selecting in and choosing 'Apply' will complete the process.

Note: KDE4 has the ability to retrieve themes directly from kde-look.org by choosing 'Get new Schemes' while in the 'colors' page of systemsettings.

You guys vote for this if you like it. This is my first contribution to kde-look.org and I'd like to see this theme do well. Red & Gold sounded like a strange color combination, but after seeing the color handling capabilities that KDE4 has, it ended up better that I could have hoped.

The third screenshot above is actually the wallpaper I used with the theme. It was done in Gimp based upon an existing wallpaper.
