Ordinary Green
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
If you want to adjust the color of your window glow, I use the following glows:
Inner shadow: #BEEFAF
Outer shadow: #5D992D
When I first tried out openSUSE (then 11.1), I thought it was weird that this green distro was still using the blue KDE color scheme. I also was a little bored with the standard blue, so I started playing around with the colors. The idea behind it was to stick with the moods and contrasts of KDE default while creating something consistent, matching openSUSE green.
This is now the third iteration, and the one I like the best so far. It's optimized for the Oxygen style, even though I have also played around with Bespin and it looked alright.
I'll be happy about any comments and suggestions. Contact me if you miss the old version.
Update: Upon comparison, it seems that Ordinary Green 3 was actually adopted as openSUSE 12.3's standard color scheme! (There might be some minor corrections that I haven't noticed.) That is huge! Thanks openSUSE!
Version 3
is an attempt to match the default wallpaper of openSUSE 11.4. I've been testing this for so long it's actually outdated (12.1 just came out), but I'm so captivated by it I can't help but share it anyway.
Changes:
- New shade of green
- Finally adopted the darker grey of Oxygen default (used to be that of Oxygen Cold). A light version is also available.
- Some optimizations regarding details like title bar and link colors
_____________
Version 2.
What was wrong with version 1:
1. People (including me after a while of not using it) thought it was too flashy
2. It didn't look good when the title bar didn't use the window color
3. It didn't match openSUSE 11.2
So what I did now is I found a green that is more openSUSE, less flashy and that matches the default openSUSE 11.2 wallpaper "Air openSUSE". Hope you guys like it.

This should be the default theme on St. Patrick's Day.
At first I wasn't sure if that was a compliment ;-) Thanks though! :-)
It was a compliment :D
Lol, thanks. I have to admit there's a lot of green. I normally don't use this background. The screenshot is just to demonstrate that the color scheme looks good with openSUSE 11.2 default settings.
great idea, my impressions about green suse and blue kde was the same. bit confusing. thanks!
Thank you! I'm glad you felt the same way and liked it!
