- Ported to Plasma 5. - System fonts support added. - The Marble feature does not work. Having some problems with the Plasma 5 version, so all this is turned off for now.
Why do some people put 2 different files for download/install with no explanation as to which is what or why, nor even a title that makes any sense (ie:
"45675912-timekeeperplasmoid"). This is the 3rd plasmoid widget in a row that I've wasted time clicking the "homepage" link, from inside the Plasma built-in widget installer, assuming there would be an explanation or description here, like maybe the cause was just the installer truncating the description for "brevity" or whatevs, but no, alas, just another lazy and/or stupid, script kiddie wannabe that can't even type a Title or upload "A" (una) app, let alone code one. If this sounds harsh, it should because this amateur "dress up" hour potentially puts people's systems at risk. One of the other "multi-file" experiments, I mentioned above, not only broke someones desktop but couldn't even be uninstalled properly. People should be realistic with themselves as to their progress in learning their craft, and/or take pride in what they do, and/or treat the tools they - try/learn/pretend/or successfully create, and the community they release them to (and ultimately themselves) with respect. Thanks, but I'm done adding any more widgets or Plasmoids for now.
magnifique horloge astronomique

Hey there. I just moved from Plasma 4 to Plasma 5 and I can't express how happy I am that you ported this widget to P5. I have used it for many years on the wallpaper "Patek Philippe Watch" from vladstudio.com (https://www.vladstudio.com/wallpaper/?patekphilippe), and now I can keep using it! \o/
(I hope the link doesn't break any rules here, I didn't find anything about links in the Terms & Conditions. If the link violates them in any way, I would remove it on short notice.)
doesn't always minimize totally on all distributions.
In RHEL7 (SL7) it doesn't with KDE 4.14 but it does in RHEL6 (SL6) with KDE 4.12.
IS there an easy way to fix/debug the issue.
Thanks for a great time widget.
I'm trying to get this to work in SuperX 2.1.1 Ada which is built with the KDE desktop. I think it was built on top of Kubuntu 13.04 or 13.10
Found this plasmoid in the get "new widigets" option in the KDE task bar.
Followed directions for Kubuntu to the letter. Even installed "pacman" from terminal (had to, was directed to when typing in the command below), but when I type this into a terminal:
pacman -S kdeplasma-addons-wallpapers-marble
All it does is open up "Pacman"
Followed path and all elements of timekeeper plasmoid are in the /home/.kde/share/apps/plasmoid/timekeeper folder as well as plasma-applet-timekeeper.desktop being in /home/.kde/share/kde4/services.
I got zip, nada, nothing.
What am I missing?
i install yhe 0.5 version with plasmapkg -i timekeeper.plasmoid but when I launch it I have this error message:
Quote:

file://home/dominique/.kde/share/apps/plasma/plasmoids/timekeeper/contents/main.qml:340:5: Type Config indisponible

I've updated to you new version of timekeeper and it will not start cause one of the import statements is looking for a folder at the wrong place (OpenSuSE 12.3 x86_64) The path there is "/usr/lib/kde4/imports/org/kde/plasma/components" but in OpenSuSE 12.3 x86_64 the folder resides at "/usr/lib64/kde4/imports/org/kde/plasma/components". I've changed the path in the xml file and timekeeper runs as expected. Is there a way to check for the approprirate path?
This doesn't work with Mageia 2 64bit, so I tried lookin for a different path as you mention here bit I can't seem to find this.
I haven't tested this in mageia 32bit.
Regards,
Do the following command in a command shell:
find /usr -wholename '*org/kde/plasma/components' -print 2>/dev/null
This command takes a while to run but it will show you where in the path /usr the folder components resides.
On OpenSuSE 12.3 i got two results. You may try out which one will work for you :-)
Good luck.
I got a tip from Dimitrios Glentadakis on the Mageia bug report site.
Try this first from root:
ln -s /usr/lib64/kde4/plugins/marble/org/kde/ /usr/lib64/qt4/imports/org
For a 32bit system, try:
ln -s /usr/lib/kde4/plugins/marble/org/kde/ /usr/lib/qt4/imports/org
And it works great with Mageia.
Regards
Whenever a KDE developer brings up the beautiful interfaces being made possible by all the work going into porting stuff to QML, they need to start including a link to your profile page here. Both of your steampunk-inspired widgets look absolutely stunning, and are prime examples of what's possible. Thanks for sharing this awesome work with us, and keep it up!
Thanks for the update, looks good now.
For the CPU usage it goes up if the gear animation is toggled ON, but then it stays up even if the animation is toggled back OFF.
Do you have the source code hosted anywhere, I would like to contribute some patches.
So far this is what I changed for my local copy:
1) In mani.qml increase the timer interval to 250 ms (increasing it to 1000 also works, but needs some more testing). will reduce the CPU load a bit.
2) Changed the calendar texture to accommodate full year display (2013 instead of 13).
3) Renamed the rectangles to give an indication of where they are used.
Thanks again for your work.

Very unique and beautiful widget :) Thank You! Works perfect with OpenSuSE Leap 42.3
all is in french but not months thanks
Widget not working on Kubuntu 16.04 needs to be updated to work with the latest version.

Thank. Just an observation : you name the first field "Week" I think "Day" is more appropriate.
