Description:

This icon theme is a collection of the most beautiful FREE FOR USE icons on the net, configured to work perfectly on KDE. It includes a compilation of the efforts of icon artists around the globe. Thanks everyone at Kde-look, deviantart.com and Gnome-look.org, Oxygen Project, and everyone that I wish I could list individually.

I tried to make this theme as complete as I could, so it is a bit large (about 37 MB). Be pacient when you use the buildscript and install the icon theme with kcontrol.

There's also a light version available (about 20MB) without some icons that are not frequently used on KDE.

This is my first post. Hope you like it!

VERSION 1.1

Added some filesystems icons (folder icons and other) that were missing;

A light version of Breathless is available;

ATTENTION:

For those who installed version 1.0:

You may donwload Breathless_filesystems package, which contains only the icons that were missing (about 1.1MB).

Run Konsole and execute builset_filesystems.

This script converts the icons and copies them to

$HOME/.kde/share/icons/Breathless.

There's no need to build the whole theme.

You can go to www.utopiavirtual.org and register in the site, and then you can upload the file there. The only problem (or not :D ) is that the site is in Portuguese. Or if you don't mind I can download the icons and put them in the site and then send you the link to publish here.

I can't download via rapidshare, they are lame. Post a copy on http://www.mediafire.com please, I'm very anxious to see these icons in action :-)

It's simply a huge mass of wonderful icons - thank you so much for sharing your beautiful collection. It now is my default-iconset (mixed with some selfmade stuff plus some 'Buuf' and 'Gant'), and it does look pretty!

OK sorry I'm new to Linux and I can't figure out how to properly install this Icon set.

I don't know how to run the Buildset script.

Thanks for any help!!

Open konsole or another terminal:

You must have imagemagick installed. If you use kubuntu:

sudo apt-get install imagemagick

Execute buildset:

./buildset

or

sh buildset

Wait the build. I may take some minutes.

A Breathless.tar.gz or Breathless.tar.bzip2 file will be built.

Open kcontrol

On "Icons" choose the tar file.

wow a truly spectacular set of icons. however, i'm sort of new and when i installed the new theme into kcontrol as a .tar.gz from rapidshare, it didn't actually change the icons. i tried the buildset thingy but no luck there. btw, it was already a tarball when i downloaded it from rapidshare, i'm very confused and i think it's a great icon theme. any help would be appreciated. thanks :)

The only way I could get the script to run was to try to install the icons using KControl and directing it to the downloaded file... that made it sort of install... then I had to go to the kde icons folder and run the buildset from there.

Once that was done, then I had the full set installed.

Thanks for your help.

Is there some reason why the buildset wouldn't run from another folder? It had all the right permissions - or so I believe.

During the build I get a few missing icon names, such as beryl, beryl-manager, Gimp Plugin, songbird egg, and a few others. Did anyone else get this?
