I'll tell you why my friend :) Here is a little expanation - http://www.gnome-look.org/groups/?id=62 , but ... I think users that came here are too much pampered, they thing we own them something, and because THERE IS an option to vote BAD without givving a reason ... - they just do that :) Too little of the users understand how work you must do to create this stuf ... In general case - they just vote, because they can ... That's the reason I stop to upload here . I stop to update my stuff too ( here ) . I don't work hours ( in some cases - days ) for free, just to see how bad are my stuff for some lazy, mean people. The one who like it - just download it and is glad, but there is too much people, who return again to vote good, in other hand - many people just see screenshots ( in one of the comments in my stuff tell me that ) and they, without think that they will loze if you stop , just rate bad .... Firstly, thanks for your comment. This really does explain a lot. =D. My way of thinking about this matter is that I create the artwork mostly for myself and then upload it to see how others find it and use their feedback to help improve it. That you don't contribute anymore due to people rating you down is sad, I wouldn't see it as a reason to stop, but hey, it's your choice. It isn't really true that I spent days working on it, I spent at most half an hour, and I don't care if people rate me down, I would just like to know why so that I can improve. I am always open for *constructive* criticism, and I think that just voting down for the sake of voting is useless. Therefore, guys: If you don't like this, please post why, so that I can make it so you like it :D
