I understand you. But if you pay attention you will see that I only packaged the engine for Fedora.
The problem you are reporting is not in the packaging, but in the code. So you must communicate the problems of the engine to its developer. Have a look here please:

Your work is truly great! But I got some issues with Open Office.
Have a look at this Screenshot:

And this version 0.6.3 is even better than previous versions.
But I can't get oxygen icons neither in Firefox nor in OpenOffice...
I'm not a KDE user, but I like it very much :)
Sudo in Fedora...YES!
If you don't have configured sudo for your user, you always can use, for example:
$ su -c "yum install package.rpm"
And, of course, you also can use GUI apps if you prefer.
Regards,
German.
Because I have Gnome installed and gtk apps use default Gnome icons??
Gradients...I don't know! I have compiled as you explain in the INSTALL file...
Did I miss something?? Help please :)
German.
Please see the new screenshot.
This was taken in a 32-bits machine, and the previous one was in a 64-bits (but I don't know if this is the source of the problem...)
Regards,
German.

Strange, i can't see gradients in your screenshot, and no oxygen icons, are you sure you are using gtk-oxygen ?
