Description:
Semi-Transparent bespin config.

Looks best with the blur effect in KDE SC 4.5 enabled.

Window decoration is Dark Perfection for aurorae.

Plasma theme is Fragile.

Update: Forgot to mention this also requires the latest version of bespin from svn compiled with the ENABLE_ARGB cmake flag set to ON to enable support for window translucency.

I looked at the Cmake.txt and it said ARGB translucency was set to on. I'm not getting all the transparency that you're getting. Is there something further that's needed to be completed after it's loaded?

Hi. Could you please tell me how I'm supposed to use the config file? thanks, john

First of all, you need to have the bespin widget style installed (available here: http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Bespin?content=63928). After that you will need to open "System Settings -> Appearance -> Style" and set the widget style to bespin. You may then click the "Configure" which will open the configuration dialog for the Bespin decoration. From here you may use the Import button to load the "Smoked Glass Bespin.bespin" config file into the decoration.

Could you tell me the name of that System monitor plasmoid? Thanks!

BradDelaSalle

It is a modified version of the Carbon superkaramba theme available here: http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Carbon?content=95530

thanks!

Are you enabling the transparency by hand editing the file or are you using a SVN build of bespin.

BradDelaSalle

Hmm now that you mention it, yes this does require bespin from svn and I believe ENABLE_ARGB must also be set to ON in the cmake options before you compile for it to work. I'll update the description to mention this. Once you've got it installed, the options for translucency can be found in the bespin config dialog under the 'Windows' tab.

Num83rGuy

Yeah, I got to looking around last night and figured that out. I need to add it to my script. Thanks and, nice setup.
