Description: A port of my FuriusMoon superKaramba theme (http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php/Furius+Moon?content=7416
Furius Moon is a very simple moon phase calender showing the current phase of the moon. Yes, I know, completely pointless!
The code is very basic and easy to understand. The math is based on www.faqs.org/faqs/astronomy/faq/part3/section-15.html. This should be accurate to within a day or so, but don’t go setting your watch by it!
Anyway, here it is...Last changelog:
Version 1.1 Changed hover property to True (thanks Neovos) Version 1.0 (repack) It seems there may have been a problem with the package 8P Version 1.0 - 18 March 2008 Following an extended period with no bugs being reported, I have added a Screenlets Manager Icon and released as final version.
This is awesome! Trouble is I'm a South Hemispherian... Any chance you can make it so it looks like my moon down here in lil ol' NZ? In other words cycling "backwards"?
great screenlet!
ive been looking for something like this!
but help!
I ant get it to install,
I have it extracted to .screenlets folder..
but cant find it in screenlets,
How can I use this>?
good news!
It works now! lol :D
I was using ubuntu 10.04 my last post,
but now Im on 10.10 and the screenlet installed and works perfectly!
It is great!
thanks mate! :D <3
Hate to do this after you've released the final, but I cant get the screenlet to move. It opens in the top left corner but doesnt budge. Am I missing something?
This seems rather strange. You 'should' be able to just drag the moon about the screen. Try right-clicking on the widget and under the 'Window' option make sure that 'Lock' is not ticked. Sorry I can be of no further help.
I have re-packaged and uploaded the files again. This time the files size is a lot larger(?). Perhaps something got corrupted in my initial upload of version 1. Please let me know how you get on.
I don't know about that repackage, it still didn't work for me. Try this:
1)Uninstall the furiusMoon you have now
2)Open up the archive, edit "FuriusMoonScreenlet.py" so that on line 31, "hover = True"
3)Install the changed version and now you will actually be able to do something with it.
