Description: I wasn't happy with any of the Vista themes I could find out there, they were all too chunky or messy or bright, so I made my own.
This is essentially a hack of VistaBlackRounded by olinux, itself a hack of VistaBut by roberTO21. I also drew ideas from VistaRoundedFocusSmall by soc, and Correcamins 1 by Toni Lara.
I basically darkened the borders, desaturated the inactive controls, increased lightness and saturation on hovered controls, thinned the borders a little, fixed curving, and removed borders from maximized windows.
I've specified controls to be Clearlooks, and icon style to be Vista-Inspirate (requires nuoveXT) in the theme file, but you can change them if you like.
Cool! I actually like your CT-Simple one alot better, it's got a similar look but the new buttons look awesome! Something different but still very attractive and useable. Good stuff :)
No problem :)
Please post a link here to your new work when you're done, it will help interested people to find similar things, and I'd love to see the changes you make!
This is a GNOME theme, not a KDE theme. The two are not interchangeable.
Have a look around http://www.kde-look.org/ to find a window style you can use.
I like it a lot. It achieves an Emerald type look without Emerald itself. I have a blue Emerald theme called Subvista and this looks like a black twin of it.
Do you mind if I use this in my Completely Vista Aero (automated) theme pack? Just search the name if you want to check it out.

Am I allowed to use it for creating another metacity theme if I feature your work?
I found a guide (somewhere in the Internet) how to install this theme but I can't find it.
Download the file, open GNOME Theme/Appearance properties, drag the file onto the Theme/Appearance window.
It is matter if I'm using the KDE style on my EeePC? Thank you!

Thanks very much! If you'd like to include it in your pack, that's no problem, just please provide credit and a link back to this theme page?
Always do. ;-)
