Please note, this Metacity theme adapts to your current GTK2 theme colours.
Hope you enjoy it

Andy.
ps. this is my first ever Metacity theme so go easy!

Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
added light mouseover effects on the close/min/max buttons
added drop shadows / indenting to titlebar text
Thanks to Le Roux Bodenstein for the ideas with the theme!

Im really digging it. I'm using it with Aurora to give me the bright blue colors with it.
It looks good, very good. thanks!
hi, i liked your theme. but i want to remove the light mouseover effects on the close/min/max buttons. so, wich lines at the metacity file i have to comment out or change? best regards
First of all, thanks for a nice, sleek theme. I'm new to linux and I'm still getting the of this gtk/metacity thing. How do I get that bright blue titlebar in the screenshot?
What is the gtk theme btw? The grip in the bottom-right corner looks good.
Nice, crisp and lightning fast.
Hello, Is it possible to choose manually the theme color ? What file should I modify ? Thanks.
Yes, it's very possible :) Extract the files from the tar.gz and look inside the xml file. Replace things like 'gtk:fg[SELECTED]' (which would pull the foreground colour from the current GTK theme) with a colour value (like the ones used in HTML eg #00FF00). I found this link very useful: http://developer.gnome.org/doc/tutorials/metacity/metacity-themes.html Andy.
Thanks a lot !
they look very good, professional, clean and smart. i think 80% approval by the community says more than 1000 words. :)
Ditto very nice
So nice, nicer to see a windows user/theme maker turning to the Linux world.
