@ummmmm: maybe i want to customyze my gnome with a osX like desktop... We are in a "free" community, so i can...
Gnome-look doesn't mean "all is for gnome" but "make you're own gnome". If i'm using Linux it's because i can do what i want, and i can make my computer MY computer and not bill gate or steve jobs computer...
so, don't blame theme which not inclued a gnome logo...
why does everything on this site has to be gnome related, it is 'eyecandy for your gnome-desktop', that does NOT imply that on EVERYTHING should be a gnome logo or whatever.
most users want to customize their desktop, if they would want it to look like a gnome desktop, they wouldn't have to change anything.
have you ever heard of the possibility to let linux run on a mac? yes, it is possible. thus, using a mac-theme for a mac that is running on linux is okay imho.

is this a splash screen or a GDM theme?
It's GDM theme
If this is a GDM theme it's in the wrong category.
and this has WHAT to do with promoting gnome?

Seems a bit blurry. Could use a bit of sharpening, especially for the icons. A good start, though.
