I dl the file .tar.gz and unpacked it but for some reason, I only get the image with the orange lines... I would prefer all black. Can anyone help? Should I just open it with GIMP and modify it? Ty

Hello! Sorry for the lateness. To what do you refer with "the orange lines"? And sorry again for my bad english

I'm sorry I meant the blue lines (top & bottom of the image) but I managed to resolve this issue since then... unfortunately, I forgot how... I believe I re-dl the .tar.gz file. Ty

GRUB

How to install a grub theme:

  1. Extract the theme to /boot/grub/themes/

  2. Edit /etc/default/grub file. Find the line starting with "#GRUB_THEME" and change it to "GRUB_THEME=/boot/grub/themes/[THEME_FOLDER]/[theme.txt]" (replace [THEME_FOLDER] ; [theme.txt] is probably OK ; remove "[]" brackets)

  3. Run sudo update-grub
