My Archlinux USplash theme. For installation instructions go to Archlinux's forums. Working resolutions 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768 for standard displays in 16:9 will look odd

Sorry all for the late reply, but this work is discontinued as Arch dropped Usplash usage. The progress bar is just a customized image, you can get Ubuntu's source from it's forums, or maybe even on gnome-look.
If you could make a similar USplash, but with the Ubuntu log and text, it'd be perfect. :)

i really like this theme, but would it be possible to have a widescreen version or the source download so that i can make a widescreen version of it?
It's nice artwork, but the reflection doesn't ring true. Look at the gap between the base of the arch logo and its reflection and then compare this with the gap under the 'x'.
