I tried to compile this theme, but the file it generated did not work as a usplash. How do I compile it? I want it in 1280x800 resolution without the silhouette. Help?

Me too, I have no ideas on how to compile and/or create a usplash compatible *.so file...
Can anyone provide a link or instructions?

Ok I figured it out: there is a *.so file inside the archive. I didnt spot it the first time.
