I have changed applications game icon and I edited some icons... The new version is found just on official site (http://www.gnulinuxexperience.com).
In the future I will add all icons in 22x22 folder beacose now the gnome-panel is heavy , but after the summer :)
You always write your ideas e suggestions! :D
Happy holidays to all!!! :D
For that firefox icon number 1 would be best ;)
Couple things:
1. Dumpster icon's should be same size. Now it looks differend empty/full
2. Make folder's look same as mario (i mean pixels ;) Becouse folders looks new it'll blow the whole theme!
I just think that it'll be better when everything is 8bit including folders. But it's your theme and i like it pretty much!
Firefox icon: I personally still think that fireflower is best. Bowser is good for bugreport or Gimp!
Keep up good work ;)
Your idea is very good, but is difficult....
I have prepared some tests...
Some recommendation?

Hello! I luv ur theme, but I am trying 2 download it, but when I do, it takes me to all out of place. Exactly how would I download this? Thanx n advance.
in these hours i have updated some icons sound, i have rewrote index.theme file which was wrong and i added, thanks to tizio, the icon folder of awn. i have also changed the icon of gnome menu, now there is mario :D
I love this theme! I was thinking, instead of the Gray Box for the folder icon (as seen in the AWN), it could be the green beanstock (is that what it's called?) Great work!
Is possible to change that icon (if I have understand which say), but I'm not able... I'll find the solution ;)
But I don't understand which sprite you would who I use...
perhaps you could cut the image out of another:

But, I'm really not sure...
Actually doesn't use only 8bit sprites...
But the original name was 8BitMarioGame ;)
The sprites are available all editions until Super Mario World (SNES, 16 bit)
I'll test the compatibility with GNOME 2.22, I use 2.20 ;)
Thanks to everyone for the compliments!
Excuse me for my English, I'm Italian :)
It's definitely a nice looking theme. I know I'll use it. One thing bothers me about it though; the folder icons look a little bit high-res for an 8-Bit Mario game. Either way, it's a great theme, and I look forward to more from you :)
Sorry to double post. When I applied it, all of my folders went to the default Gnome folder. Are you planning on making an updated version for Gnome 2.22? I know it's got something to do with renamed files, but I wouldn't know where to begin (aside from the obvious "~/.icons")

As a replacement for Firefox's icon, how about an icon of the "fire flower" that allowed Mario to shoot fireballs?

This definetly has first priority next time I change my UI in a big way.
