I ran the script on mint 17.1 cinnamon and now I no longer have access to my theme settings. The script removed all my previous icons from /.icons, only Papyrus is there, and the cinnamon theme settings gui will no longer launch. I am stuck on my current theme without the ability to change it. How can I revert this process and fix my system.
Hi, this is indeed strange behaviour. I have no explanation for it. I just checked the script and tried it on my system. Even if it had deleted your .icons folder - it would'nt affect Cinnamon Settings. I'll look into this - thanks for reporting. It might help to delete .icons completely. Please ask in a linux mint forum. Could you please post the scripts output?
I deleted ./icons, logged out, logged back in and the Themes gui worked again - so that's a big relief. I'll try now by just doing the old fashioned manual copy and test that. I didn't save the output of the script when I ran it, so I cannot provide that, but atleast you are aware of this bug and it appears to be easily fixed (with the loss of other installed user icons). Not the end of the world! Thanks for the quick response. I'll keep you posted when I have time later to try manually installing.
I am relieved, that my solution fixed your problem. Are you sure my script did this? I couldn't reproduce your error.
What do you mean by "fork"? This is original work. This IS Papyrus. It only shares some icons with my other icon theme Kawaiki. All icons are hand crafted by myself ;) Your second question: only three colors are available with shadows (as an extra) and all colors are available without shadows. Pleas install it and try :)
It's a fork of "Papyrus", right? I like the icons, but I'm not a fan of shadow-icons. How about a version without the shadows? Also, what happens when selecting "light" or "dark" during installation? I often change themes; does that mean I always need to re-install it when e.g. changing from light to dark?

Ah, I think I meant the Kawaiki theme. I just remembered a those icons for Firefox and Thunderbird from somewhere...

Ah, yes, you are right ^^
I guess I know what you mean, there seems to be another icon theme, which uses my icons, but the creator must have forgotten to give appropriate credit. I contacted him, so he can catch up on this ;)
