Installation

Download and extract the .tar.xz file.
Move "Flat Remix" folder to ".icons" (./local/share/icons for KDE) in your home directory.
To set the theme, run the following command in Terminal:


gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface icon-theme "Flat Remix"

or select "Flat-Remix" as ICON theme via distribution specific tweaks.

Stupendous is missing an icon of Wxcas that Defaulth Stona and a little smaller than that of Kde Connect to achieve perfection!!!!!

I love the icon theme, very good job. I do have to mention a bug on ubuntu 17.10 , the terminal min-max-close buttons seem to be hidden behind an upper chunk of the icon image. The buttons still work, so it's not a big problem, and it's the only application that exhibits this behaviour, just wanted to let you now. Screenshot: https://prnt.sc/i2b4z6

It's a common issue in gnome-terminal. It happens with those icon themes that use scalable images rather than multiple fixed size icons, and at the moment I haven't found a nice solution.

Does this not work on KDE? I installed it and there are missing icons for apps like spotify,, okular, and other applications.

While I like what you did with this icon theme, I must say there is room for improvement. This is my desktop with it: https://ibb.co/czCb4v Bottom right corner, see that black button? We could use a red/colored shut down button. Also, your preview shows a new Twitter icon, which I expected to replace Corebird's (ugly) icon.
As a suggestion, you could submit your icons to Noobslad's Icons PPA, so that we can get it to update as soon as you release a new version.

Of course, there is always room for improvement. At the moment the theme doesn't actually suport LXDE desktop because of lack of time, but I'll try to solve that as soon as posible. Anyway, maybe the newer version on github works better for you.

About corebird's (ugly) icon, I don't understand why it happens. Maybe the app doesn't suppor icon themes and forces to use the original one.

Noobslab actually has a repository for the icon theme but I don't know if it uses the github version o a previous one:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/icons
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install flat-remix-icons

+ A really great icon set! One thing though. Could you please make white icons (like Bluetooth Manager, Onboard, Onboard Settings, System Tools) little less white? Or maybe outline them somehow with a darker shade so they can be distinguishable from a white background? Also SMPlayer icon is too dark. Thank you for your hard work and keep it up!
