Monolit icon theme - 0.4.1 version.

This iconset contains mimetypes icons, places icons(folder, trash, etc.) and partly devices icons.

The best result achieved in a lightweight file manager PcManFM
I do not use Nautilus etc. and do not guarantee 100% functionality, sorry.

Please, help me complete/correct mimetypes for Nautilus, Gnome apps,...etc.

My own handmade in GIMP. No collection, no use of other themes. Icons that I have not yet created, there simply are not included.

If you like this, please report the missing icons and mimetypes here. Thank you very very very much!

The archive is ok. After uploading it I check of course. Probably a problem somewhere on the way. Try downloading again. MD5: 14aa6fdbdde10c9585673585dc160ce8

Jak hodnocení dolu?? Hodnocení nahoru!! :)) How ratings down? Vote Up! :))

Mo-no

It can be seen in the newsfeed on your profile page. linuxlex voted content "Monolit icon theme" down :o) It's either broken or do not know. But still it does not bother me:)

linuxlex

Why I voted down, and I wrote a positive comment? I like this work and power! Personally I like a fair hearing, so it's rather a bug in the system.

Can't extract the tar.bz2 archive

Mo-no

The archive is ok. Try to download again. Size is 8230105.

Still getting a 305 kb archive which then gives this error "tar: Record size = 8 blocks bzip2: Compressed file ends unexpectedly; perhaps it is corrupted? *Possible* reason follows. bzip2: Inappropriate ioctl for device Input file = (stdin), output file = (stdout) It is possible that the compressed file(s) have become corrupted. You can use the -tvv option to test integrity of such files. You can use the `bzip2recover' program to attempt to recover data from undamaged sections of corrupted files. tar: Unexpected EOF in archive tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now" The download isn't working for me for some reason. I think I'll try it later after a session restart and clearing the cache. Thanks. BTW love the icon theme, already have 0.2.2. great job.

balakrishnan

Finally got the theme. I think there was something wrong with either my ISP or more likely GNOME-Look, since I got disconnected many times while trying to download the file, and finally had to use the DownThemAll extension in Firefox to get the whole file(had to resume 6 or 7 times to finish downloading the file). :D btw, the the new folder icons seem pretty cool, looks good with a dark nautilus background. Thanks

Mo-no

I am glad that they succeeded. :,)

Dude, You've probably been asked before, butwhat is that font?I love it

Mo-no

Do you think the font on the preview? It is Scriptina.

It's a good way for the new folder icon? Working version http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/1174/2010091412844616041280x.png http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/1562/2010091412844634071280x.png

You've done an amazing job. I love the mimetypes (especially the audio files). And the fact that you did it all yourself is mind blowing. I hope you continue to work on it. Many thanks.

Mo-no

Thank you very much! The greatest reward for me is if someone really uses it:)

aeroregistros

Your icons are amazing!... The best of it is that it's a whole new icon theme, made from zero. This makes the theme very coherent because you dont go trying to match the icons with some other foreign type of design. I can figure its not a easy job to make a entire theme out from nothing, there are so much things to determine and test. The important thing is that you go very well, and yout theme personality is very defined. It's a very interesting concept. Keep up the good work. Sorry my ugly english. Voted good.

aeroregistros

Just one little suggestion: change the folder icons, they are too grey for the others icons, maybe a blue outline for, or a new icon...

Mo-no

Thanks a lot! I agree that from scratch is difficult. Therefore, I declare that I will add an icon that I'm missing in my system. And every edit (gimp), as long as it fits into the whole and I am happy with it. Mimetypes I take from other themes and I'm looking on the internet, but there are so many options and formats that do not even know and I can not (and do not want) to test. They are icons for "gnome", but not test it in gnome but use the OpenBox. I just tried the folders icons (home, images, ...) if the gnome is right, but otherwise I care only about what I see every day in the file manager (PcManfm). Why do something halfway, then what someone else has done perfectly, and what suits me, right? Folder icon I could change, or at least make another better version in a smaller size, which now looks like an ugly gray rectangle, I agree:) Your English is fine, mine is terrible:)

PDR

Awesome!! In my opinion you should change "Computer", CD/DVD, and HDD icons and some other icons. But all the other icons are amazing! The folders, mp3, rar etc are awesome! (the "Documents" icon folder is a little weird.) Good work!

Mo-no

Thanks! Icons devices (hdd, etc) are not there yet. When I have enough time and inspiration, so I let them. ad "Documents folder": I know (btw. it's pen :-). Sorry, multimedia icons I did not like, so I changed into the next version. Please review if it is better http://monoikon.wz.cz/data/ikony/audio-mp3.png

An Icon Theme should have a valid .theme file among its files and aim to be complete for desktop use under Gnome or KDE Plasma.

If it contains only a single icon or a small set of icons, please use the Icon Sub-Sets or Single Icon/Logo categories instead.
