Hello, I'm happy you found my icon theme. It's still far from perfect, but made great progress during the last year. I know, nowadays people like flat, tile-like icons. Consistency really matters, but I wanted to create a beautiful icon theme which meets the criteria of being consistent, but still giving you unique beauty with great detail. I hope you like it as much as I do and don't hesitate to comment if you have any problems

= Installing =
have a look at the Kawaiki Wiki at https://github.com/gembutterfly/kawaiki/wiki
- Script (RECOMMENDED) -
Unpack Kawaiki-Icon-Theme.tar.gz and then use the installation script from the command line (pathes may be different on your pc)
$ cd ~/Downloads/Kawaiki-Icon-Theme
$ ./INSTALL.sh
(ATTENTION - beta - should be safe but I am not responsible for any damage)
- Manually -
Download and unpack to ~/.icons or /usr/share/icons
additionally you'll have to copy folders from "brightness" according to the brightness of your GTK theme and an index-file from "Theme-Index"-Folder

= Issues =
PLEASE REPORT if you find any mismatching monochrome icons when using Ambience, Radience, elementary-xfce, Numix presets from the installation script! Only that way we'll get a perfect set one day.

I do not have cinnamon installed . Only mate.
I find this in many new icons including yours . http://imgur.com/a/9t94w Look at link , using Ubunut/linux mint mate 1.10 . can you fix it ?
can you tell me if this problem occurs especially in linux mint? that might be cinnamon using specially named icons there - i'll have a look as soon as i can

Love your icon theme, especially the folders. I'm just not a fan of the flat or square folder icons so prevalent right now. Just wanted to let you know that your install script didn't properly set the permission of the files when it copied them to /usr/share/icons. Extracting the downloaded tar.gz file leaves all folders/files with 770 permissions. They all need to be changed to 755 or something that at least gives everyone read access. Again, thanks for your excellent efforts on the icons. A definite up vote.

if you didn't use the script, please copy "categories" and "actions" from "brightness" to "Kawaiki-Only"
but pls add volume icon on panel no icon volume for indicator plugin in linux lite xfce
do you have Tango and Gnome Icon themes installed? Kawaiki inherits from them to replace missing icons. But I'll look into that. If you are not using the script, please have a look at the post below.
hi lion-d-gem-h eart could you please make yoour ppa-repository available for Ubuntu 14.04 trusty Thar and for Ubuntu 14.10 please?? I get an error 404 when I add your ppa in Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Thar. So please update your ppa-repository And to add: your theme looks nice on these shots here. Greetings Karmicbastler
