I use this theme in Ubuntu 14.04
With former Ubuntu editions I used a similar theme
"ambianceP- dark "which was similar
It gave me not only dark side bar in Nautilus
but also dark sidebar in Google-Chrome.
Hopefully you could improve your theme,
so that we have dark bookmarks-bar in chrome also
