Description: A dark variation on Karashata's Shiki-Nouveau-Colors series of GTK2/3 themes, which I would have to consider probably my all-time favorite GTK theme(s).
Even though this is filed as a GTK2 theme so that it will show up on both GNOME-Look and Xfce-Look, it DOES include the GTK3 themes as well.
Even though the Illustrious (pink) version is not shown in the screenshot, it IS included, I promise.
Naturally, these themes are designed for use with their corresponding GNOME-Colors icons and Metacity/Cinnamon/Unity/Xfwm titlebar themes. Enjoy!Last changelog:
I am using the theme on ubuntu 12.04. And there is window theme only for dust color. For the other ones only gtk but no window themes. i checked the folders there are unity folder in every one? What is the problem? By the way the themes are great so i am very interested in this matter. I would like to use them on my ubuntu installation. :)
I'd like to add that only the dust and the human gnome-shell themes are available, all the other guys actually contain human files.
It's a pity cause I love love love the wise theme...
Hope that helps!
Thanks for catching that. Since I use Xfce and therefore use Thunar instead of Nautilus or Nemo, there is no way I would have seen that. I have implemented your fix in said file in all variations of the theme. Lemme know if this works for you.
I love the Shiki themes and I use Wise on my Linux Mint box. The only problem (?) I found was the font color for the desktop icons. The font color is dark and on a dark background the font is almost unreadable. I need the font to be white.
How to fix:
enter in terminal...
gksu gedit /usr/share/themes/Shiki-Midnight-Wise/gtk-3.0/apps/nautilus.css
add this text to the end of the file...
.nautilus-desktop.nautilus-canvas-item {
color: #FFFFFF;
}
.nautilus-desktop.nautilus-canvas-item:active,
.nautilus-desktop.nautilus-canvas-item:prelight,
.nautilus-desktop.nautilus-canvas-item:selected {
text-shadow: none;
}
Log out and then log back in. Enjoy!
This fix works even if you are not using Nautilus and use Nemo instead! I am using Linux Mint 14 Nadia 64-bit Cinnamon with Nemo! :)
I love Shiki and this looks fabulous!
I have been wanting a dark theme but could not find the right one, I have now. This should be the default dark theme for LInux Mint!
It goes perfect with the default Cinnamon theme, too.

Thank you for making my new night time theme :) I was already using shiki-nouveau at day time lately.
