Which part do you think needs lightening, the buttons, the background, or the whole thing? I don't really like the look of g5-ish, if that's what you mean.
The icons are in SVG format, so if you don't have SVG support in your build of GTK, you won't be able to see them.
When i install the theme i have missing icons, eg. show desktop plugin, clipboard history plugin, some buttons on epiphany, i'm using xfld desktop from os-works

I love this theme! I only wish there was a matching Metacity theme.. :-(

Deadly : It looks superb , but is too much on the eyes when it comes to contrast. Pliz reduce the contrast.
i agree, too much contrast, a little bit brighter will be better.
hey, i like it, not to dark and not to bright, works well.
