If you want the panel background back after clicking on aurora-midnight. right click on the panel, properties, Background, select Background Image, this is the location:
/home/your username/.themes/wyrdoaks-green/gtk-2.0/green.png

Go to the theme manager and click on customize, Aurora Midnight Controls theme. that should file in the gaps.
