Oh, I forgot, I am using compiz... I found a theme by searching brushed. I think it said it was a beryl theme but since I am using emerald theme manager it doesn't matter!! Sorry for the confusion...
I found a theme called osx-theme here. I really don't remember how I found it, but if you want to change this one, just look in the .themes folder and find osx-theme and in the shadows folder is the brushed image.
Excellent theme for those who prefer OSX look rather than Leopard.
BTW, how did you get the mac menu aplet to work? I've tried many tutorials all around the web and I can't get it working.
You have to apply the gtk patches. I will attach them to this site. Just install the .deb file and run the install.sh.
That is if you are running Ubuntu.

What metacity theme are you using? I've been looking all over for a brushed theme that matches this one.
