Description: This theme is heavily based on the elementary gtk theme created by the one and only DanRabbit. There were some modifications done by me including gimping, editing, testing, trying, tweaking,... I am now finally rather happy with the result.
Metacity theme included.
Works great with Faenza icons or elementary ones. But also other themes look really sweet.
It also looks awesome with the indicator-appmenu from ubuntu - wich does not work with my much-loved "focus follows mouse", but for all you click-to-focus users it should look very nice.
Since I got so much from you all, I felt that this time I should give my work back to you. Hope someone enjoys it and I made no errors packaging it.
*edit* (!)For those who have reported problems with nautilus, or anything really: this uses nautilus-elementary and engines from the elementary repository: ppa:elementaryart/elementarydesktop

When I installed elementary-milk 'Appearence' window said something along the lines of: "this theme won't work till you install GTK+ engine aurora"
I got aurora installed (i think) then it said I needed GTK+ engine equinox. so I got that installed too.
But now when I switch to elementary-milk, it doesn't look like your screenshots. See the imgur link for a screeshot of what I see.

Could you please tell me what font you are using, because the limit should be about 8.
I am using Arimo Bold 9 for the titlebar right now: no cropping. Even with 8 it still works well. Ubuntu 9 works fine, too.
coolness.
I myself prefer the firefox 4 beta, to be honest. Something about chromium or google-chrome just doesn't feel right for me.
I like the theme. Usually, if I do use chromeium, I have it set to "use gtk+ theme and colors" and "use system title bar", but this would also do well.
Hey cool. My theme on omg!

I know it's bright - it's called milk for a reason. But it works well with adjusted colors (right now I'm using #CCCCCC as background myself).
I did try to pay attention to those weird details like progress-bars looking properly, evolution working properly, tabs looking good and not having ugly selected backgrounds, buttons being good in apps, menu-bars, tool-bars, gimp and Firefox, ...
If you have advice for improvements, please let me know. Focus is on keeping it smooth and consistent throughout the applications.
One thing I haven't manged to get working as I'd like:
I'd love to get the single-line-entry fields to look like the breadcrumb-bar. Right now I haven't gotten around the background of them being drawn above the background pixmaps (ugly white box over them). So if you know this specific problem, please drop me a line.
Hm, strange - works for me (just downloaded it and extracted it)
Using plain file-roller on plain maverick.
Try downloading it again, maybe?
I'll put it on another mirror, too, in a second.

With a titlebar font size of 9 the close, minimize, maximize buttons are cropped. I needed to set the font to 9. Is it possible to fix this?

It's called Sansation (http://www.dafont.com/sansation.font)
I made a Chrome Theme for Elementary Milk: http://goo.gl/IbvrT Looks great, took a lot of work. I hope you try it if you use Google Chrome.

Man you have a gift to make "E" things. Please don't stop, the world will be empty without "E".
Nice theme, but I can't test it because tar and file roller say it's not a gzip file.
