No. I did it in Bryce, in Windows. I started with a 1600x1200 .bmp image ('premium' quality rendering) and resized it to 1024x768 in the gimp. I also desaturated it, added a translucent radial gradient layer to darken around the edges and used color balance to give it a bluish tint. I tried Blender a while ago and didn't like it. I'm gonna reinstall it with yum and give it another try.
