I would get rid of that black-white gradiented, uh thing on the right. It is extremely out of place and very uncomfortable looking. Doesn't fit theme. Argument: the galaxy is very soft with light contrast and no sharp edges. With that shape in there, you're breaking the consistency. I would suggest keeping the reversed portion of the image (the text kicks ass, btw), and adding a little more shadow (gently) to it to bring it forward some.
