Keep them. Just because some dips**ts blew them up doesn't mean we should go back and erase any memory of them. They WERE there, so don't bother scratching them out of old stuff. Dang PC thug hippies liberal commie puritan conservatives wanna delete them from the history books >:(
i was born in NYC. i still have family and friends there. keep the towers.
Please don't... I think their inclusion is wonderful, a memorial on a grand scale... ;-) And it makes it look so pretty.... :-)
I know this is a tough subject, I live in the states, have family in the NYC area, and have an aunt that, if she had not been ill, would have been there. It is sometimes painful to rememebr what happened, but we cannot let ourselfs forget it. We as those who were not directly affeced by it, owe it to those that were, to remember, and to honor.
I really agree with you If I was very very schoked of this picture of the WTC, it was because it was : 1.- made AFTER 11th september 2001 2.- but WITHOUT any particular sign that could let think it was like nothing had happened. And I think we cannot do like if nothing had happened.
I could not imagine, that the two towers would be that controverse!, but I had to put them there, without it wouldn't be recogniseable. But as some are heavyly offended by them, I will cut them out.
but I think you are able to express your idea deeper. Keep the towers if you want to, but I am sure you could add something to that picture, find something that comes from you which is missing, say graphically a point of view, an emotion... or just a legend. And thanks for I am glad to see that you, the author, can understand why this picture can be very emotional. From my point of view, the problem comes from the context. I did not think that kdelook.org could be considered as an Art Gallery. Perhaps am I wrong ? I mean that when you are going to a picture exhibition, you know before, that you can be very shocked by the author (photograph, painter...) if that's what he wants. I thought that it was not here such a context. Please forgive my english.
Is GREAT!!! But the towers sadly in the background, considering they are not there anymore, really does ruin the "Penguin of Liberty". Re-do it with only the statue and you'll have a real winner.
Could you please delete this upload and really find something else ?
Why??? you don't have to download it... so don't try to tell others what they can have just because the subject material offends you in some way.
Have you thought even one second about your argument ? Everything would be possible to download ?
And is that always a bad thing? Yeah, go ahead and make some stupid comment that you feel will easily win you the argument... Go ahead, compare a pic of the WTC to child porn, or snuff films, please, since, obviously, they're the same thing....
DAMN RIGHT YOU CENSOR-NAZI! Being a Linux user i thought you might know better than to try and censor stuff.
at some books from : - JJ ROUSSEAU - THomas HOBBES... You may consider that there must be rules for preserving liberty, just because you are not alone on this earth.
One more time, I may be the devil for you, but please let me think that the word "nazi" should not be used as you use it. If all and anything can be treated of "Nazi", then the word loses of its importance, its strength. However I believe that it is not necessary that this word loses its horrible importance.
but the two towers in the background heart my heart :-(
Why so bad score? It's really nice! Good work!
