Well I was working on my site and I said to myself, I need a logo ! So I fired up my beloved linux box and made this logo with blender in combination with the gimp. Maybe my logo isn't very useful as background, but maybe some people are interessed

You should make all the white area transparent in a PNG image, that way the user's desktop color shows through. the white is too blinding for my tastes. ;)
looks good for one exception: it's not simple. I mean, if you only wanna make a logo for your webpage, it fits your needs. But i would call it a "entrypage" than. If this logo will sign all your working stuff, it has to be much more simple. Maybe you have to print this logo on letter-heads or somewhere else ...
OW jeah I know what you mean, you mean like a small logo you put on the end of your email jeah therefore this logo is much to big, it just represents the site itself indeed. The small logo is under construction ;)
