Description: Ok, this is the third and final upload of this wallpaper. For all of you who have watched my little science-project, here are the results:
It took 20 Minutes to drop down to a score of 30. 5 Minutes later, it was at 27 (which obviously makes it invisible to most people who browse with the default setting of "only content above 30). Then it took more than 2.5 hours till someone finally took the heart to push it below 20 (but when it happened it took place real quick).
It was interesting to watch. But it sure takes the fun out of this uploading-thing alltogether. If logging in to comment on something is such a hassle, it should be made easier. With cookies for example. Or logging in should be dropped. I remember there were good reasons to establish the login-procedure, but frankly said, it sucks. Maybe this wallpaper sucks, but having no feedback just why it is sucking makes me wonder, why I upload at all.
A lot of people who contribute quite good stuff are rated down below 20 in no time. Other stuff, that is in my opinion not so hot soars. Personal tastes differ. That's life. I just miss the times when people took the time to comment (constructive or harsh) on the uploads of others. And I miss the times when getting voted below 30 or 20 (and it only takes five or six votes to get you there) didn't mean the end.
I agree with you about it sucking that posts rated under 20 get deleted/are not seen at all. I also agree that there should be much more commenting for things rated that low so people to improve. That said, I'm not a big fan of this wallpaper. Honestly, there's nothing really WRONG with it per se, it just seems a bit cluttered to me - I'm not a big fan of big text or text at all really on the wallpaper. Don't get me wrong though, it seems like something someone else might like - just not me.

Downloads, 100 min. after upload = 60
Strange, strange, strange... As a scientist I am attracted to numbers (in an almost sexual way), but sometimes the numbers just don't make sense. Someone could point out, that it is still early morning in australia and china, and that a lot of people who just started their day at the office downloaded the wallpaper. But I am doubting it... It looks as if someone deliberately downloaded this wallpaer 57 times. This is really weird...

I agree with you about it sucking that posts rated under 20 get deleted/are not seen at all. I also agree that there should be much more commenting for things rated that low so people to improve. That said, I'm not a big fan of this wallpaper. I think it's pretty cool. I really like the contrast with the font color and the background color. Nice work.
