I like your pictures, but I am thinking about the low scores. You named it "red whirl". What would happen if you changed the name to e.g. "Debian whirl"? What kind of things determine scores? My opinion:
1. ideology (KDE, Debian, SUSE)
2. artistic effects
3. practicality (e.g. the icons can be seen on it and therefore can be used as a wallpapper)
