You can go to www.codeweavers.com and buy the crossover plugin..which is the only good way to run QT under Linux. :)
I haven't tried it yet, but mplayer should also be able to play Quicktime Movies
Thank You Folks for the Infos :-)
Yeah, it can play .mov movies, but unfortunately it can't play the Sorenson codec, which is what almost all quicktime movies out there are these days, so the crossover plugin's really the only way to go at the moment. :(
look great! i've seen an icon called Quicktime-Player, where can i download this tool for Linux?
i dont know if he is just running it in wine (should be possible), but a company called codeweavers has released a plugin/standalone version of the quicktime player, shakwave flash player and windows media player (along with some others, i believe), all running in wine. they are $20 (for all of them, i think) or you can download the demo which doesnt expire, but pops up a window over the image asking you to register. if you have the $20, it might actually be nice to register it, since all the work they do on wine to make the players run, they contribute back to the base wine development tree, which means you are basically contributing to an open source project, indirectly...
