What's there to apologize for? There is nothing offensive or distasteful about this wallpaper. Don't apologize. Some people are just weird. Don't leave your tin foil hats at home.

Have you guys spent the last 10, 20, 30, + years under a log? Have you not seen whats going on in the world? I'd like to know what part of it is disturbing? Perhaps its the staving children, oh wait that not in there, maybe its the years of oppression depicted, oh wait thats not there either... hmmm... please tell me whats disturbing your little minds. To the author: there is NOTHING contriversial about this peice, the only thing i dont like about it is the apologie that comes along with it. And yes, this IS a direct flame to anyone that considers it disturbing or untasteful, now if you dont like it just because its not your style thats another story no flames intended to you folk.

I had to register on kde-look because I really wanted to post a message saying 'great job'. I'm reminded of some artwork pictured on H.P. Lovecraft books by this wallpaper. Very original, very well done.

I don't understand how this is in bad taste. Does it some how offend the computer/cyborg life forms out there? I think it is one a very original piece of artwork. Remember, you don't have to use it. Hmm, maybe the author can post a warning so as to not offend those easily offended.
