Why not do away with the background layer altogether? KDE draws a user-defined color behind the wallpaper by default; if the backgrounds of these images were transparent, that color would show through. ;)
Excellent wallpapers, by the way. If I could vote them up twice, I would do so. :D
I like it, got it as my background now. I think it would be even nicer for a minimalistic version to do away with the window and just have the blue silhouette on blue.
By the way the bg colour is #225485 so you can just colour match instead of editing the image to make it larger :)
