To the issue at hand, this is a fantastic display of art. Combinations of crisp lines, darkness, colors and blends along with a fine model of the human body make for a very *artistic* end product. And that's what this is: art; nothing vulgar.

this picture can be considered explict in some ways but in other ways it is not, i personally think it is very artistic, and a very good portrayal of the beauty of the female body, unlike many many other nude pictures posted which were made to be shallow and sexy. it caught my eye because i dont see sexual desires in the photographer or the person who edited and posted this. porn is porn:shallow and explict. erotica is erotica: sexually inticing, designed for beauty, and art is art, and i think this is art. thank you.
Its the same people that proclaim such things that make this image considered explicit, yes she is attractive, but the premise of the image is not the idea of "she is hot" but the symbolism

As far as it's relevance to Ubuntu? It's a wallpaper! 99% of the wallpapers here have nothing to do with GNU, Linux, any Disto, or even computing! Just a picture of some field, beach, or some flowers or such with a distro logo on it. I fail to see the difference here.
i like this one , but its slightly inconvenient for using in a no personal system , hence could you perhaps try to make one with the background alone ?

I think its beautiful artwork. Frankly I could care less if it meshes with what the term "Ubuntu" is supposed to signify. The human body is a beautiful thing, sometimes people forget that.
Something I'd expect to find over DeviantArt, rather than here, though.

It's a personal wallpaper, not a candidate for the CD cover or something. Get off your politically-correct high horses.
This is actually some nice artwork. It engenders a mood. The fact that you responded emotionally to it is the best indicator of that. Would I want it as MY desktop - no, but that doesn't mean I need to put it down. It's good art.
Now, if there was a way to isolate those items that might be to "adult" for some users, so they are only exposed to them voluntarily, that might be good.
That is the problem, it is not related to anything besides adult nudity. Although we do have some fans here of nudity and find it to be ok to show their kids, so, we'll leave it until the admins find it and start banning the user who put this on here.
