.--(02/2007) What's new in Version 2.5?-- The version number (6.06) was removed. This was done to prevent the wallpaper from becoming oudated. As did when version 6.06.1 came out.
--(06/2006) What's new in Version 2.0?-- The Dapper Drake got a mid-level facelift. I added a couple of things, so now he has more definition, and removed some other things that were not needed. I also smoothed out a couple of rough area's. All in all the The Dapper Drake now looks a lot better. I also took the advice of pianoboy3333, and used the Official Ubuntu Font for the words "Dapper Drake 6.06." Good advice 
. I also went back, and redid a couple of parts that were done in the previous version with The Gimp (www.gimp.org), and redid them using Inkscape (www.inkscape.org). As of version 2.0 the wallpaper was done entirely using Inkscape. Thanks to those who gave advice, and compliments .

I really like this wallpaper, but I'd fix a couple of things: 1. Make a 1280x1024 version 2. Use the ubuntu font for 'Dapper Drake 6.06' (The ubuntu font can be found by downloading and installing the package 'ttf-ubuntu-title'

Agreed with the above poster, it looks REALLY great though, too bad it's not the official :)
The wallpaper is nice, I love it. The problem is it is too small for modern resolutions like 1920x1200 (16:10) or 1600x1200 (4:3). Please, upload the SVG or bigger versions.
