Description: this is the second take of the wtc site (ground zero) sorroundings... so same description, basically, just some different settings used on the camera.
HP R507 (PhotoSmart), photo taken Oct 9 2006 in New York City . On the other side of the fence that's visible on the bottom of the picture you could find a couple of years ago the WTC, now it's Ground Zero...Last changelog:

that is a pretty good question and there's a huge controversy ... originally they were gonna build the Freedom Tower right where the WTC stood but then some problems came along... and there were new projects but apparently a lot of people didn't like those either because the new plans "didn't focus enough on the tragedy of 9/11" but tried to find a bigger context (which in my opinion is a good idea because looking at it as an isolated event is just pointless) so those got voted down. bloomberg (the mayor) promised he'd speed things up but there's still nothing. for more information check out this page:

hey I am curious a bit...is there any work going on to build another WTC there or they have just put a fence for nothing?
