I like the sprocket better now, but it still is a mighty contrast compared to the foreground. I apologise I wasn't clear in the first place: The fg-bg contrast is too big.
The updated sprocket is nicer to look at, but still gives me the "under the microscope" blurry feeling.
I think the sprocket should amplify the fact that the X logo is a vast sphere of shiny plastic. Right now, only the sphere looks really 3d to me.
Hate to break it: It's *environment*, and not 'enviroment' ...

I like it, but could you provide the source file? (XCF, PSP, whatever) I don't really like the bubble glare.
