Specifically and more to the point, using the character from ice age is not considered to fall under the fair use doctrine. At least in the U.S., so this is copyright infringement. Providing of course the character is under copyright.
impossible... you can't take someone else's copyrighted work, add a KDE logo and release the new item as GPL... Either remove it, or prove that you have the real copyright owner's permission to release it under an appropriate license...

The edges of the Logo need some smoothenig. Inserting that detail's the whole point of the image and you messed it up!
