Go to Applications menu -> Desktop preferences -> Theme.
There should be a button that says "Install theme". Click it, and find the package, and click ok. Then it's installed and you can find it in Theme details :)
Oh, and you may need to restart theme preferences in order to see the new theme in theme details.
If you look at the colors specified in the gtkrc of both themes, you'd actually find that SmoothMilk is a little darker at #f7f7f7. Original Milk, #f5f5f5.

It looks so nice! But I feel that the color of selected text in menu(white) is slightly hard for me to look. How can I change the text color to black?

1) The name of the theme is SmoothMilk. 2) Last I checked, Milk was quite white in color.... 3) What do you expect? :-) 4) I love this theme!
