well, this can happen with this theme and some icon themes
plz open the gtkrc inside the theme folder...at the beginning of this file there is a line "icon sizes=..."
there you have to change the menu entry from 0,0 to e.g. 16,16
i don´t know why, but with some icon themes the downscaling of menu icons freezes the sys for some seconds
i hope, this will solve the problem

While clicking the drop-down menu, the system stops responding, any comment? This problem ONLY happens with this theme.
