Ambiance/Radiance corrected
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
Description:
Ambiance and Radiance fixed for custom button layouts.
I had to redo all of Radiance’s buttons (and fix them along the way, mind you), but it’s here: both themes now support changing the order of the titlebar buttons.
I also tried to fix some inconsistencies that creeped up in Radiance’s gtkrc, namely Nautilus’ breadcrumb bar.
Following Umang's idea o Launchpad, now the menu button background is fully opaque and most button layouts should work fine now (see screenshots).
Please test!
Note: you’ll need to add a PPA to your software sources in order to get the dependencies for this package. Please look here for instructions: http://http://www.webupd8.org/2010/03/ubuntu-lucid-light-themes-radiance-and.html
Note: Sorry for not uploading the package directly to GNOME-Look.org, but their submission form has a bug that hasn’t allowed me to do so. Google Docs’ll have to do.

Who did you get your Firefox displaying the url in the titlebar with this arrow? Is it an Addon?
Yeah, that's LocationBar². :)
Hi, I would just like to know what is the name of that purple wallpaper? I want it :)
You can find a download link here: http://www.webupd8.org/2010/03/preview-and-download-new-ubuntu-1004.html
Well, I've told you before but I must do it again: great job!
Here is how it came out. http://klinestudio.netai.net/images/DesktopWrong1.png Mind you I am running Karmic and followed the directions.
Nevermind forgot to run update and re-log.
Hey, I love the theme but a weird thing is happening with the metacity on my ubuntu - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4901093/metacity.jpg is this fixable? thanks!
Whoa. I'm not even sure I can reproduce that here. How did it happen? (I mean, how did you install the theme, what (if ever) had you done to the theme before the update, things like that.)
I installed light-themes and its dependencies from the webupd8 ppa
I followed your instructions and then tried installing the *.deb but I got the same error 'A later version is already installed'. So, I can't install it.
As before, that’s because you’ve tried to install my version just after they’ve updated theirs again. Try installing mine now, before they do it once again. Just bear in mind that their next update will likely revert my changes, so you would have to wait either for my merger or (one can hope) for theirs. Until then, it’ll be a cat-and-mouse for us. :)
It worked! Thanks! I sure hope they use your updates for the official themes.
I really like: I tried to set the close button with the orange rather than red. The buttons do not light the active window on mouse over them as they do when the window is in the background (inactive)
Well, since they provided the original button graphics for Ambiance, I just tried to fix the trough beneath the buttons. My version of Radiance is more complete because I had to redraw all the buttons, after all.
Why changing the scroll bar? The themes looks good, but since I really liked the first scroll bars (gooklooking, though thick), I got back to the previous versions.
Hey, it wasn't me, but the ubuntu-artwork guys—I’m only fixing their metacity themes. Anyway, now the scrollbars are drawn by the (murrine) engine, and the old pixmaps were dumped.
It's perfect, it's better than the originals xD rated good
Hey, good job! I forwarded your themes to Ken (The guy who wrote the originals) so hopefully we can get some of your fixes back upstream. No promises :/ But, I appreciate the effort ;)
Hey, thanks! Some hope is better than no hope… :)
Hi, When I tried to run the file, it said "Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: ubuntu-mono" I tried to search for resolution for this error and it appears that mono has already been part of the standard Karmic Koala.
Oh, I forgot to mention this: add the PPA indicated in the URL below as a software source: http://www.webupd8.org/2010/03/ubuntu-lucid-light-themes-radiance-and.html
Excellent thanks and great work!
I get a message telling me that a newer version is already installed.
the link does not work
