i think your theme has great colour selection. but i don't think the round buttons work very well. firstly it makes the toolbar buttons too small.
but also the toolbar, dropdown, and combo buttons don't fit in with the "straight-edge" look of the scroll bars, progress bars, checkboxes, etc.
yes, you are right. i did not notice the "gummy" theme which is less bubbly. also there is a "simple" theme with only colors applied and no unusual menu spacing.
No problem for less rounded.
For no-glossy, more gummy version, there are little problems with dark colors: gradient effects is less visible than glossy.
